Program Overview
An evidence-based certificate programme that equips aspiring Educators, Special Educators, Psychologists, Therapists, Allied Healthcare, Mental Healthcare and Rehabilitation Professionals with core ABA competencies, integrating theory with practical application in educational, clinical and home environments.
Engage in structured self-work & supervised training under RCI-registered professional at IMHRC, Hausla, or any other approved mental healthcare institutions.
Complete the practicum with 5 Case submissions, demonstrating Applied Behaviour Skills — a key requirement for certification.
Eligibility: Students enrolled in Diploma, Bachelors, Masters Programme in Education/Special Education, Psychology, Teacher Training Courses, Social Work or any other Rehabilitation Programme, in-Service Teachers, Counsellors working in Inclusive/Special School/Clinical set-ups, Registered Rehabilitation Profesionals, Parents or any other enthusiast.
What You Will Learn
On successful completion of the Certificate Programme, candidates shall be awarded a Certificate jointly issued by the Indian Mental Health & Research Centre (registered under the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Uttar Pradesh) and Shia P.G. College (NAAC ‘A’ Accredited), University of Lucknow, India, as per approved programme guidelines.
Learners can work as Behaviour Therapists, ABA Technicians, or Intervention Assistants in therapy centres, inclusive schools, NGOs, and early intervention programs, supporting behaviour modification and skill development under supervision.
